Foreword / Introduction:

Since 1970s I was interested in weather phenomenons, especially thunder and lightning.
Lightning forms and side effects are one of the most interesting weather phenomenons there is.
Since 80's I have been fanatically photographing all types of weather phenomena.
Especially lightning photography is my preference.
I also find photographing thunderstorms with all kinds of side effects, shapes and precipitation very interesting.
Large cloud towers, squall clouds is also in my favorite.
Hail is the most interesting form of precipitation, they can be very small, but also gigantic.
In the 1990's I observed large hailstones up to 5.0 cm during heavy thunderstorms.
Often observed hail 1.0 to 2.0 cm during thunderstorms or in springtime showers.
Other weather phenomena are of course also interesting, such as snow, especially with thunder, rainbows, all kinds of cloud formations, precipitation, optical phenomena, etc..
